This medieval chest was created as a complete high-to-low poly asset, following a production-ready workflow suitable for real-time. Sculpt in ZBrush, low-poly model and UVs in Maya. Texturing in Substance Painter, using a PBR standards for game engines.
Baking was performed in Marmoset Toolbag, then Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag.
This project was developed as a technical demonstration for my learners, aimed at teaching best practices for high-to-low poly asset preparation, object naming conventions, and efficient baking workflows within Marmoset Toolbag.
The high sculpt was in the millions of polis. However, the low poly was 2544 tris, texture 2k.
