I created a quick stylized art test to see how fast I could produce this wall-mounted deer. I experimented with different workflows, using spheres to form the horns, the sweep tool for the shield, and Dynamesh and Remesh for some of the finer details.
The asset was prepared to be game-friendly, and I did a quick texture pass with InstaMat. However, I decided to showcase the ZBrush model, which also features vertex shading.
This art test was a great experience, as I was able to complete modeling, UVs, baking, and texturing, all within nine hours using various workflows. I'm really proud of how this asset turned out. The art test was not for a studio, but for my self as a challenge, and should not be viewed as a "final product".
